Historic 1700s Farmhouse Kitchen
Project Details
A one-of-a-kind project for an original Pennsylvania farmhouse built in the 1700s. The challenge was to retain the original elements that provide timeless charm while implementing the practical necessities of modern insulation and structural safety. The floor showcases original pine planks preserved with care, while the custom vintage sage cabinetry and limestone countertops honor the home's heritage in the most contemporary way possible.
The exposed beams were preserved as a proud token to the character this home has possessed for hundreds of years..

Client Review
"B&B understood our 300-year-old home in a way no other contractor ever has. They preserved what mattered most — the beams, the pine floors — while giving us a modern, functional kitchen. It is a masterpiece."
